The Toecurler is made for early entry, steady trim and time on the nose. Its familiar longboard outline gives the board an easy paddling feel and a calm path through softer sections.
For longboard lines
The shape uses pinched 50/50 rails, a deep nose concave, belly through the middle and vee through the tail. It is built as a single fin and can be finished with a tail block when that detail suits the board.
Where it works
Choose the Toecurler when wave count, trim and noseriding matter more than a shortboard-style response. James will work through length, width and finish after understanding the waves you usually surf.

Outline
Wide, parallel rails through the mid-section with a full round nose, available with a square, round or pin tail. Width through the nose is intentional, creating the lift needed to walk forward and hang toes without the nose going under.
Rocker
Flat to minimal throughout. Low entry rocker feeds into a flat middle section for maximum glide and trim speed. The tail has just enough curve to allow the board to pivot when needed without interrupting the flow.
Bottom contours
Deep concave through the nose creates suction and lift when weight moves forward, which is what makes noseriding possible. Through the mid-section, the board transitions to belly, helping it sit on top of the water and glide. Vee through the tail adds pivot and looseness, making the board easier to turn for its length.
Good for
Noseriding, trimming, cross-stepping, small to medium surf, and surfers who want to slow things down and focus on style and connection with the wave.
