Nike Tiempo-inspired board and boot campaign image used as the commercial work hero

Boards and objects made for brands, spaces and campaigns.

Boards, fins, furniture and one-off pieces handmade to brief.

Commercial pieces without the throwaway feeling.

Brand and campaign work

Handmade boards, fins and objects for shoots, launches and campaign moments. Built to carry the idea without feeling disposable.

Hospitality and interiors

Boards, furniture and studio objects for restaurants, hotels, retail and private homes. Made for spaces where the material matters.

Private commissions

One-off pieces for gifts, milestones and collectors. If it matters, it is worth making properly.

A board built to match the boot.

Nike needed a surfboard for a shoot with Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha. The brief was simple enough to say and awkward enough to make properly: build a board to match the Nike Tiempo.

The board used the same blue-to-pink gradient as the boot. The carved rib sections were carried into the rails, turning a football boot detail into a surfboard detail without making it feel like a prop.

The finished board was used in an official Nike photoshoot with Cunha as the centrepiece.

The brief

Create a handmade board that could sit naturally inside a Nike football shoot, matching the Tiempo's colour and design language.

The translation

Carry the blue-to-pink gradient onto the board and pull the boot's ribbed detail into the rails.

The result

A surfboard that worked as a campaign object without losing the shape, finish and presence of a real board.

How commercial projects work

The useful work happens early: understanding the object, the material, the practical limits and the date it needs to land.

01

Brief

Tell us what the object is for, where it is going, quantities if relevant and the date it needs to land.

02

Materials and direction

James will work through the shape, finish, colour, materials and practical constraints.

03

Build

The piece is made in the workshop. Progress can be shared where useful.

04

Finish and handover

Collection, courier or campaign logistics are agreed around the object.
