Nudibranch
A fast fish for high lines and front-foot drive.

Nudibranch
Fish · 5'0 to 6'8
The Nudibranch is built for surfers who generate speed from the front foot and like to hold a high line through fast sections. It is most at home in small to medium surf, with enough range to be pushed into larger waves when the surfer and conditions allow.
How it surfs
Speed arrives early and carries through flatter parts of the wave. The fish outline keeps the board moving, while the twin or quad setup lets James tune the balance between release and hold around the way you surf.
A good starting point for
Choose the Nudibranch when you want easy speed, a front-foot feel and a board that rewards a high line. It suits surfers looking for a lively fish rather than a board that needs constant work to stay moving.

- Fish
- Size range
- 5'0 to 6'8
- Fin set-up
- Twin or quad. Twin keeps it loose and flowing with a longer, drawn-out feel through turns. Quad adds drive and hold, particularly useful when the wave has a bit more push behind it.
- Construction
- PU, EPS or agave blank, glassed with high bio-content epoxy resin.
Outline
Wide nose and swallow tail. The width is carried well through the mid-section, giving the board its signature paddle power and early entry. The swallow tail acts independently through a turn, keeping drive without sacrificing release.
Rocker
Low throughout. Flatter entry rocker feeds speed down the line. Minimal tail rocker means the board stays fast and skatey.
Bottom contours
Single concave through the entry and mid-section, splitting into a double concave through the fins. The single feeds speed and lift down the centre of the board. The double channels water out through each fin independently, adding looseness and drive under the back foot.
Good for
Paddle power, speed generation, small to medium surf, gutless or mushy conditions, and surfers who want to get more out of less wave.

Finished boards only appear in the shop when they are available in Square and marked with this shape. Custom requests go straight into the brief with Nudibranch selected as the starting point.
